Scope of Work
P&R Tower Company completed a 4-tower diplex installation for two 50kW AM broadcast stations at a site in Hayward, CA, serving New Inspiration (Salem Communications). Each tower was fully assembled on the ground — including tower lights, high-capacity insulators, and the top-loading skirt — and bonded prior to installation.
Site Challenges & Safety
Because of the soft roof and California structural installation safety requirements, the towers could not be assembled in place. The fully assembled and bonded towers were lifted and installed as complete units. The installation went flawlessly, with all structural and safety requirements met.
